Harley buying Roehr Motorbikes ??
« on: January 21, 2011, 12:43:04 AM »

Someone at work today said they saw on the EPA Web Site an application or notice,, or something to that affect, that Harley Davidson is Buying Roehr Motorcycle Company. I spent most of this evening surfing the EPA site and not getting anywhere, that site is treacherous. Anyone heard this?? or know how to get around the EPA site to find the info on this?? I never heard of Roehr motorcycles until today.. Looks like they make sport bikes and even electric bikes..  :nixweiss: :nixweiss:

Might have seen some filing required when three or four years ago Roehr was designing a model to use a Harley Revo engine.

Super Charged V-Rod.

The V-Rod was suppose to be the water cooled motor for the Buells prior to the Rotax. HD changed the design and it ended up being to large for a sport bike platform. The Roehr is a nice bike however it prices itself outside of competitive bikes, similar to what the new EBR (Buell) RS will be price wise (30k+).
