Ok, quick update...Sklywag has offerred to make contact with Jim from J&M and pose the following questions to him...He also said that he would post the answers here once he had them. Thanks for that Sklywag! If anyone has any other pertinent questions, then please air them out here and hopefully we can get this sorted out...

Is there a connecting harness for the Blu-Hub to the Harley system?
With this configuration can I integrate, 11FLHXSE2 CVO Audio System, CB, Intercom, RoadTech (Garmin) 660, and iPhone4 wirelessly in helmet?
Can you specify all parts and costs necessary for this?
Can I link all these functions and a passenger’s headset for intercom?
Can my passenger also link in their iPhone4 to answer their calls?
How many devices can be linked?
If disconnected from peripherals will headset / blu-hub auto reconnect?
Does headset support voice activated commands?

That should cover it.  The only other thing I'm interested in would be to know if the J&M system described would work with any other bluetooth headset from another manufacturer.  I'm currently running a Midland BT2 bluetooth headset on my second bike, a BMW GSA and would like to utilize it if possible.  If I read the J&M descriptions right on his bluetooth pieces, they're using a proprietary language of some sort which limits their use to the J&M headsets.  I appreciate your following through with this as it can be a mind twister.

You're right...the one thing that it does state is that is only compatible with the J&M headset...

You can also go wire with HD wires and use http://www.hdbomm.com/ but if you want wireless then J&M could be the solution. Let's see if questions are answer and cost.  :vrolijk_11:

Ok, so here is what I've gotten from Jim @ J&M via Sklywag. It is posted below along with the manual in PDF form. It seems to link a phone, NAV, and CB, into their proprietary headset. Once linked it also seems to reconnect automatically. This hub also allows the BSR to link their own phone, take calls in their headset, and listen to their own music; all without interfering with yours. There is zero delay in intercom also. I think this might be the one I've been looking for...I just wish that the headset weren't so blocky and a little more streamlined...IMO...I sure hope this helps! It is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much Bill and Jim for getting this out to us!

Nothing yet, however I just sent an email today to J&M inquiring about the release date of the harness. I'll post whatever reply I receive.

Hmmm, may be a stupid question - but why can't we just use any bluetooth stereo dongle like a Sennheiser BTD 300?

Not sure...To be honest, I'm not familiar with that product...But I do know that the J&M is all proprietary. I was originally interested in the Shark helmet's Shark Tooth Blutooth system, but it doesn't integrate the CB. Please tell me more about it or reply with a link so that I can look it over. Thanks

the above post gives you the link to Sennheiser's english site. Their bluetooth dongles should not be proprietary.

I will ask their local dealer next week if he sees any problem connecting one of those with HD's audio system. They are sold for some 80 $ over here.

The J&M Blu Hub dongle appears to be designed to connect to a harness which brings all of the Harley audio system functions into it, transmitting it then to a J&M bluetooth headset.  That should encompass the radio, CD player, CB radio, Intercom and anything plugged into the auxillary input, like a Zumo.  Additionally, a bluetooth phone should connect to either it or a Zumo, allowing phone use through the bluetooth headset.  The bluetooth dongle you mentioned appears to work with a single device like an IPod or MP3 player only, transmitting to a bluetooth headset.   Unfortunately for us but good for them, the J&M technology appears to use their own protocols which limit their use to only their products.  Not that big a deal if you haven't already started buying other folk's gadgetry, but I have so its expensive to start over. :-\

That is a BT adaptor for an iPod, iPhone. The JM unit allows integration to the harley features such as music, CB, Nav and will sync your helmet with your phone, allowing your BSR to do the same. I just went with the Scala system, I had purchased the bomm but when my BSR didn't notice that she had knocked the cord out of her helmet and chipped up my paint I decided that I needed to either go wireless or go to jail. With the Scala you give up the CB, music in the helmet but Nav and phone work.

I would consider the JM when it comes out.

Kraut...sorry I overlooked the link...however it seems the last two posts have put it succintly...I'm looking for one system to integrate it all and so far (at least that I've seen) J&M are the only ones to accomplish this.
