When I was in professional school there were many foreign students studying here with the idea that they would go back to their countries after graduation to improve the lives of their countymen. None of them went back. All of them married US citizens and stayed. I would say non of them repaid their debt with money or service and would not be welcomed back to their native countries. All of them took a seat away from a US citizen because of the quota system back then.  Doc
