I can tell already, some of you already know that I dumped the first one.
Bought the first one in March and put a few thousand on it. Near the end of May on a ramp during rush hour, going about twenty mph, I hit about five gallons of that alcohol hand sanitizer. I guess a large container of it broke open in a truck and leaked out. It didn't bother the cars in front of me much. But, it sure played havoc with the Bike. Everything had to line up for this to happen and it did. Proper curve angle, not seeing it in time and a ten foot embankment. Once I was going into the hard curve of the ramp the Bike caught the wet cleaner and started sliding. I did pretty well until I hit drive payment again. That's where I lost it. Totaled.
I have Progressive Insurance and I cannot say to much about them. "They were GREAT!!!" Within a week I had my check. My Harley Dealer worked hard to get me another one just like the one I had. There were two out there (In the US) that were brand new. One had a deposit on it and I got the other.
