I just tried it myself to see what was up and your right, no reply tab or quote tab on any of the vendor tech threads.  [smiley=nixweiss.gif] It doesnt look like the threads would be a locked topic, maybe naitram will check that out, or give up the reason for it.

altugo, a permissions change was instituted awhile back that allows anyone to start a thread but only the thread starter and the vendor are able reply to it.  This was done to keep the conversations in a thread on track and ensure any issues or questions raised about the vendor or the vendor's product were responded to exclusively by the vendor and not other site members.  You should be able to begin a new thread in that section, just not reply to existing ones that you, yourself haven't started.
