Fullsac Touring Baffles Installed

Finished up my 2010 Limited Fullsac Setup with their new Touring Baffles. Took about maybe a hour to install the baffles not including if you have to remove the mufflers. Mine were not on the bike. I installed the 2" cores. Very easy upgrade and high quality piece. Once again, thumbs up to Fullsac Performance! :2vrolijk_21:

Deeper tone than my V/H ovals I had previously. Not any louder, just deeper. No on the packing, trash canned it. I will try to get a sound bite in a day or so when my weather gets better here.

I just installed mine on my 2011 Limited as well, along with the Fullsac X-Pipe  1.75" baffles and the packing is in.  Didn't want loud, just some crack under load.  The idle is a little louder that stock, but when I rev it up, it really has a great sound.  Like G_R, I would highly recommend Fullsac for the workmanship and quality!

Got um on order along with X pipe and Stage II kit which includes Woods 555 cams, thinner head gaskets and tuner.

I have Andrew 54's in mine, but this fall when I trade I'm putting Wood's in the new bike. Definitely can't go wrong with Fullsac. :2vrolijk_21:

What pipes are those that you midified by installing the fulsac baffles?  They don't look like the stock mufflers that come on the Limited?

They are the stock pipes that come on the Limited.  The rear end is cut off, stock baffles removed, Fullsac baffles inserted and new ends attached through the stock shell into the baffle collars.

Right, Stock mufflers. Just cut off the end with a Chop saw. Drill three holes and add three screws you are done.

Spurrs, Nice Looking Kit, I did a similiar modification a bunch of times before the CVO Mufflers came out in 06, The 3 1/2in 00a CVO mufflers were easier to modify but I liked the look of the 4 inchers, It was a nuisance because the baffles used back then straightened out the axle indentation when they were pulled, Had to machine an insert to Press them back in, I see the kit baffles have a space cut out to bypass the indentation, and the baffles on 07 and newer have a Hollow Dummy on the left and a reverse flow on the right so they slide right out, Steve did his homework on these.

I rode 300 miles today with my new Fullsac cores. More than happy with them, Deep throaty sound on accelleration, and a low rumble at cruising speed. Soon as I got home I loaned them to a buddy to give them a try tomorrow. I have a second set coming in Monday. 
I think it's a home run for Fullsac!

Had mine installed yesterday along with X pipe, Woods 555 cams, improved cam bearings, tuner and head gaskets.  Great sound!  Need 100 more miles on break-in before I twist it up!

Yea, I finally got to push it past 3500 RPM yesterday.

In the past I've said that the best money I've ever spent on a bike was for the LED headlight/passing lights.  Well. they are #2 now.  The Fullsac Stage I and II are first!

The bike is WAAAY quicker that my 07 and even quicker than my 04 103.  The torque never goes away, still pulling hard even when you hit the rev limiter which happens quick!  Get the bike rollin, pull in the clutch, bring the RPM's up and drop the clutch and the front tire is off the ground!  That's sayin a lot for a fat azz like me!  Don't know how long the clutch will last with this set up.

Steve at Fullsac says the next step is installing a trike trans gear and one tooth smaller drive belt.

The sound of the 2" baffles with no packing is perfect for me!  Quieter than Rinehart true duals.  Slight rumble at idle and cruise speed, loud on hard acceleration!

Brian, go ahead and do this install on your 2011.5!
