Stock 06 103 heads need port and polish
« on: January 24, 2011, 08:24:13 PM »

My cam bearings went again, 2nd time.  Engine is being replaced, all except for the heads.  Anyone know where I cansend my heads to have some quality, street ridable work done while I'm awaiting new cases?  I'm running Zippers 575 and Bassanni exhaust with a SERT.  I'm live in the DFW area of Texas.

Jerry, check out these guys:  Automotive Machine and Supply
                                         201 Carroll St  FTW  76107
                                         817-335-9331

Don't let the name fool you.  They do lots of HD work. The also sell D&D stuff as cheap as anyone around. Be sure to ask them specifically about the CVO 103 heads as I've not talked to them about that particular head. Have dealt with these guys on previous bikes and love not only their work, but they are great guys as well. They ride touring bikes and set up touring bikes. Don't really want to deal with other stuff.
