Talking with someone earlier today and realized I may not be remembering something correctly on the new bikes.  Need confirmation if someone knows for sure.

Was 2009 touring still 18mm?

Was 2010 the year that changed from 18mm or was it 2011?

Never mind.  Just found a source.

Sorry, should have answered my own question to close the circle.  I'd mistakenly remembered the change happening with the 2011 bikes.  When it came up in a conversation today I wasn't sure.  So wanted to confirm.

Found it in the HD annual tech doc.  Still 18mm with the 09 bikes and, just as you said, sensor change with the 2010s and not the 2011s as I'd mistakenly remembered.  

My bikes are old.  I shouldn't have to remember this stuff!

It all depends on which model your talking about. They still use 18mm bungs in 2011! Only touring models get the smaller 12mm bungs all others are still 18mm. My guess will be that we see more of the 12mm in 2012 model year
