Hey guys,
I just picked up my Autumn/Haze and found out that in Canada we don't get the XM Satelite installed [smiley=nixweiss.gif]  They told me HD didn't have an agreement in place with XM Canada so they are not offering this service on my bike.  Anyone else from Canada encounter this?  
How do I go about installing XM on my own?  Any suggestions?

Hi Canuck,
You could probably order the XM module for the radio and have it installed.
Or as another option if you want to have XM and a GPS you should check out the Garmin 2730 GPS. Then you could move your GPS and XM from vehicle to vehicle without paying seperate fees for different recievers in each vehicle too. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

FR8TRN, Do you think the part may be on the bike but it just hasn't been activated?  How could I check this?

That really sucks Seems like the module should be there, after all it advertised as part of the bike. I could understand them not offering the 3 months free deal. I don't listen to anything but XM any more. Did ya get a price break without it???

On the XM radio, I had to arrange with XM radio for my service and I went with the 3 year package as it offered the deepest discount.

Thanks for all of the great advice!  Unfortunately, I checked the radio and all I have is; AM, FM, CD, and WB.  I guess that means the module is not included.  Can I purchase this from Harley Davidson?  No one here seems to know much about getting this feature on my bike but it is something I was really excited to have.  I appreciate all of the advice you guys give me.  Thanks again. I agree with VA Eagle...look at the Garmin 2730.
You get the gps, xm, and mp3 player all in one and can
pop it off and put in car or truck. You can use the aux input
on the radio. When my xm expires on the bike ...I am going to activate
it on the 2730. My $.02.
