Towing a trailer
« on: January 27, 2011, 02:46:39 PM »

Does anyone tow a trailer behind thier bike? Do you have any recomendations for which one to purchase? I would like one big enough to be seen by cars wanting to change lanes but small enough to not be effected by cross winds. I want to be able to go to canada for a few weeks and need to carry more underware, and of course for all the chit the rear seat cover wants to take. Thanks for any input.

Another vote for the little Bushtecs.  Minimal maintenance.  Excellent hitch and connection system.  Very effective suspension on the trailer.  The bike barely knows its behind you.  And the extra space makes road trips much much easier.  Also, with the cooler on the neck you can ice down the heads and hands of your road side victims to make identification considerably more difficult.

Once the heads and hands are removed, how many victims can you fit in a Bushtec trailer?   :nixweiss:

Any more than one per trip is just selfish.

me and my wife went to jasper alberta last year and i'm glad i wasn't pulling a trailer. the mountains there are the most rugged i've ever ridden and to have a trailer waggin along behind would have put a real damper on the trip.
just sayin,

Well I've had a Bushtec Quantum Sport since 2007, and I pull it on every vacation, 200
miles, or 4000 miles. I've pulled it on the BR Parkway, Deals Gap, etc. It has never caused
me any concerns. It never moves out of position, even in the sharpest curves.

They are just so big, you could take enough stuff to live on the road forever.  Or even live in one  ;)
