Was in So Cal for a few days

Boy did we have crappy weather, bright blue skies, mid 70's all week. Far cry from the 7 degree temp and snow we left behind.

Got to sneak out one night and took some friends to the Hollywood area.
Had a late lunch at the Hard Rock and walked out to a movie premier going on "The Rite". Hung around a bit and got to see one of my favorite actors.

Nice surprise and completely unexpected.

Greg he's probaly still there waiting for someone to invite him to go riding.  ;D. By the way who's the actor.  :nixweiss:

I don't mean any harm... but he played one crazy SOB in Silence of the Lamb... d00d freaks me out. :nervous: Guess that's a testimony to his acting skilz but if he went into that character in my presence it would freak me out. :vrolijk27:

Greg, I might have mentioned to you at the summer GTG that I would be in the area in January. But I ended up with a very limited "free time" schedule.
Didn't even get to go with my wife when she visited her sister, although that might have been a good thing  :nixweiss:
Got to Long Beach around 6:30 Sunday night and left Friday morning at 8.

Normally with this trip (different place each year) I add a week or so for our own time. But we are going to the UK next month, so something had to be cut. I was really looking forward to spending some time in the area and flying home from SF.
