I like the Twilight/cobalt colors (as these were the colors on my my '08 SERK), but for some reason the combination in this paint scheme fails to excite me.  Even though it is "flashier" than the titanium/riptide on my bike, I prefer mine.  More subtle maybe and a better contrast between the colors.  Also, I think if the pinstripes outlining the flames on the new bike were done in silver, it would look better.  Oh, well.... I love my machine and riding season is getting closer by the day...

I stopped in to Buffalo Harley yesterday to see if they were getting one in.  John said no.  Hmmmm......    I'm looking forward to seeing my driveway again by the end of the week.

Well, the latest HOG magazine came in the mail today and the publication includes a short article Mid-year CVO.  They include the same announcement that other internet media sources have had listed for over a week now.  It's interesting that Harley is promoting the bike, but I still can't get an answer from the dealer on when they might see the bike.  They also publish that production will be limited to 900 units.

You need to go ahead and buy that bike, don't be takin' no stinkin' pictures!  Besides, it will match your SEEG!

I got a call from my dealer this morning and they expect the Twilight Blue CUSE in two to three weeks.  Thanks to Trimster I confirmed that they do have the bike on the floor at Southern Thunder, so I'm going to try and get down there to take a look today.  I'll try to get additional photos too!

I saw one of the Twilight Blue/Candy Cobalt bikes at Southern Thunder HD in Southaven, MS today.  I've got a few photos to post, but the bike was indoors and indoor photos just are not going to do the bike justice.  I'm sure it would really pop in the sun.  Here's the best shot that I got that might give you some idea of what the Twilight Blue will look like in the sunlight.  You can really see the blue metal flake in the dark paint where the flash hit the bike in this photo.
