The CUSE6 looks good with the bookends too.  I am really going to have to stick with this stable and I need to do so for some years now.  Did someone mention a 12 step program?

I would think any day..All the other dealers are starting to see them show up now..I hope mine shows up with perfect paint but it is getting harder to believe that it will..I have my fingers crossed....
After reading about the paint issues I did NOT sign the deal until the bike was rolled out to sunshine and inspected. Like others, I did not nor do I have a specks per square inch count. I'd like to see a thread started with great paint from the start. I did not want to hassle with getting paint issues corrected again. On my SG I had to have three license plat brackets tried before one was the correctly color.

ok thanks...

I have seen 3 of these bikes so far and all 3 had a very strong purple hue to them. The funny thing is all 3 had the tag inside the saddle bags that said they where painted by Jim. I forget his employee number that was also there. I like the flake but still think that it would look better with solid black with the
blue flames. I am hoping we can narrow it down to who is painting them......here is a close up of what i have seen..as you can see the lid is totally different from the saddle bag.

crazybob,

No sun here today, but it is interesting how "blue" the saddlebag looks to me in your photo just above.  From any distance at all the Twilight Blue just looks black and even in the sun, you have to be with a few feet to see the metal flake pop.  It is curious that the saddlebag looks so blue in your photo, so maybe what I see as blue does look purple in person.  I'll try to get a photo of my tour pack when time and sun allow!

PERFECT EXAMPLE!!!

My red matches up perfect.  NO differences in the paint.

On this particular bike that Bob took the pictures of the saddle bag lids, the whole tour pack and the inner dash matched, but then the bottom of the saddle bags and front fairing matched.

I dunno, maybe it is just me,

But everything you Guys are poking at seems all to good to me.... Maybe I am not that critical or give a shirt...  I read all 19 pages, and cannot find a fault I would care about... Love the colour, love the flame details, love the ice in the flames, love how it seems midnight blue metalflake in the sunshine and black in the shadows and shade...  As far as I can tell there IS NO DOWNSIDE, and only ONE real problem:  Australia is a long bloody way for them to paddle it over and I don't get mine until JULY....  Bummer... :-\

I am so depressed, I took my F-450 4x4 home today, and even though it is threatening rain I brought out my orange and black 2011 SESG hot rod, race tuner, V&H, O disk Super Trap straight thru mufflers, and terrified the citizens roaring around.... My decompression backing off sounds like a big Semi letting off the Jake Brake....   :bananarock:  I will just have to suffer, and make do, until July....  :-*   :orange:

When "BIG BLUE" gets here, I am gonna KEEP EM BOTH....
PHatt BIG BLUE for the long hauls, and the o&B SG for the local hot rod stuff....

You just keep picken at it, makes a few more available for us out in the sticks to enjoy....  Only 4 so far are even going to make it to Oz.....  :2vrolijk_21:

March, April, May, June, July MY BIRTHDAY PREZZIE, BIG BLUE!      cowboy

Hello Racerdj, Bless you Man,
Look, there is Fall, and then there is Fall, and here it means little in the tropics.....  We ride all winter, and here in the Semi Tropics of the Sunshine Coast an hour north of Brisbane, we hardly even get a frost.  Winter is the dry time.  Summer is the rainy time, and this year the wettest on record.  So Winter means you wear gauntlets and full leathers if it is cold, but that is FAR FAR BETTER than the rain in summer....

So, my "BIG BLUE" will get here in July, dead of winter, and that is not a problem!! In fact the cool weather will probably mean a good break-in, as the HEAT is the ENEMY... Winter here only about three weeks long of cold, maybe a frost or two, this is like Hawaii here on the Sunshine Coast.  You are welcome to come on down.  To get an idea of travel in Oz, have a look at my free Bushtracker Forum for my Clients at www.bushtrackerownersforum.com as there are Bushtracker Owners travel logs and pictures on there.  But where I live might as well be Hawaii, nil winter or fall much... Year around HAWG HEAVEN.

On BIG BLUE Options: They modify these scooters for the Australian Design Rules, and there is no way to know how it is going to come in.  Speedo changes to kms, indicators go yellow, on and on.  They do not allow the Reverse option, but if the seat is heated or it comes with heated handgrips that will come through.. Right now we don't even know what lights will be allowed on the top box... But, never mind, I can always order them and install them in the box...  They don't allow red on the sides so the LEDs on the lower sides of the box will also probably not be there...  Again, I can fix all that once it is in the country, who is to know...  8)

Regards from Oz, Cowboy
