I suspect your are right.  The Street Glide was modeled after the SEEG's as they were so popular.

Nice looking scooter. You get the next best thing since you couldn't find a SEEG/2 (IMHO) I think the MoCo realized that people liked the sport/touring look, and created the Street Glide for those individuals. As has already been stated the mods you've made to your bike has created your very own CVO. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
