All dressed up and can't go.
« on: February 01, 2011, 06:56:41 PM »

Great day in the northwest 45 and sunny. I hadn’t road or started it in two months Took the cover off my bike and I had left the ignition on accessory. I always leave it on a battery tender. The alarm light is blinking like it should. But battery is dead.
Do you think it well charge or do I need a new battery???

If you've run it dead and it's been there awhile the question really isn't "should I try it?"  Question is "uh, how heavy is that bike to push home sometime later?"

If it were me I would give it a shot, then ride it to the dealer and get a new battery.

Those new gel batteries are pretty tough.  I'll bet it will charge right up and be OK.
