BTW can someone answer why its always a really pretty day when you have to drop it off, and you would rather be out riding. That sucked. :( [smiley=pumpkin.gif]Ride Safe,Fired00dsmiley=fireman.gif]

d00d, out here the same phenomenon happens when you wash the bike or your car, you can pretty much guarantee rain within 24 hours no matter how nice it is the day you wash them.

While things were apart for the cam installation also changed the lifter blocks, pushrod tubes and rocker boxes.  Got all three together awhile back on a really good eBay score.  So here's what the rest of the change looks like.

Thanks Don! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

That is exactly the results I was looking for. I can't wait to get my scoot back and feel the difference. I don't care about the upper end numbers as my riding style won't effect me. I love torque and it appears that's what I'm getting! I'm anxious to see since I'm changing exhaust and ecm how much more seat of the pants feel will differ. Maybe I ought to bring me a change of pants when I take my first ride!!! ;D ;D ;D Just in case! [smiley=nervous.gif]

It sounds like our goals were the same JR.  If you're looking for nicely increased driveability with a bigger smile and solid consistent PULL when you twist the throttle this is proving to be a really nice setup.  Didn't mention first time through that it not only looks smooth on the dyno sheet, it feels that way too.  Really is very consistent.  Idle is smoother too.  But the consistency of torque band's climb is what really feels sweet.

Cams were installed last week and dyno tune completed last Friday by Jim Brown, Braggin' Rights Dyno, who did a portion of the testing on these cams with Zippers.

In this installation, the 575's DOUBLED the TQ at 2500 . . .

BLM, I think that might be the HP graph you're comparing to.  The previous dyno run (in red) doesn't appear to start until 3,300 rpms where it shows about a 10 ft./lb. gain.  Nevertheless, looks like the ol' pumpkin's laying down some stout numbers. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
