Corbin classic solo with Hollywood pillion - anyone have it
« on: February 11, 2011, 05:17:06 PM »

I ordered the Corbin Classic Solo a few months ago and now decided to get a pillion. I see that the Touring Passenger pillion will not fit if you have the Stealth luggage rack, as I do. The Hollywood pillion will fit with the luggage rack but I'm not sure how it fits, looks or attaches. Anyone have this setup or have any input how this would look?

Did it fit?  I'm about ready to buy new seat.  Have the HD heated hammock that stays on in winter and for road trips, but I want something that looks better when not on the road.

Did you check with Corbin?  They might have a photo for you.    :nixweiss:

They do, Greg.  I keep the passenger backrest and stealth luggage rack on my bike most of the time, so I sent them a note to see if the dual touring saddle will fit with those things on.  Had I known they offer a heated option for that seat, I likely would have bought that to begin with, even though I am happy with the comfort of the HD heated hammock, even on long tours.

I received the pillion today. Phew.....it does fit. Looks a little skimpy behind the seat with the backrest in, but it does fit with the luggage rack. And an added bonus is it will nicely fit in the bag when not in use.
