Hello CVOHarley,
Some of you may recognize my name from other HD type forums.
Not currently a CVO rider.
Current ride is a regular 2009 SG with a Hillside 107 that I built. But like many, could not leave it alone and have it tore down right now with some big help this time from another Bob in WI.
A few years ago, I did own a CVO Roadking (for a week) that I bought used with 180 miles on the clock. One of those deals where I saw it, thought about it for a week, then bought it over the phone for a pile less than new. I thought 180 miles is almost new.
I had to ride it before I would give the rest of the payment. I quickly learned why the dude that had it traded it in. That beast had the shakes like a lawnmower that just hit a water pipe. Long story short, we could not conclude what they would do to fix it and I walked away. Yes, I got all my money back.
I do love working on almost anything and have done some cams for friends too. Last winter I helped my brother turn a 2009 RK police bike into a big wheel-drop a$$ custom. I also have a feddish for exhaust systems and really like tweaking the 4" CVO mufflers. Those thinks perform well with a bit of work. Always looking for a set to play with if you have some collecting dust.
I am more of a reader than a writer, but I am on line pretty often in the evenings.
Hello again,
Bob
