Getting ready to have Jason Volski paint a King tourpack for my 06 FLHTCUSE getting rid of the leather one.  Should we following the graphics on the saddle bags or go with the solid Black candy Crimson?  Tail light surround will be painted the primary color like the newer ones if we go multi colors.

What would look best and if you have one like I am talking about please attach photo from side and back I would appreciatte it, no matter what the color is.

And I think a solid color would flow better and make the TP blend in more.  To my eye, on that paint scheme they've sort of dictated it the way the lines flow.  There would be no "connection" to the rest of the bike with any graphics you put on the side of the TP.

What if you match the graphics on the front fairing the same as the tour pack? That way the top graphics flow up and the bottom half flow down. I hope that makes sense... hard to describe. It kind of has a horizontal line right below the gas tank with a bottom and top half. Whatever you match it with I think it should be multicolor!

I would go with some color on the tourpak.  I am going to do something with mine on my FLHTCUSE6 soon...

I tried to mark up Chips to simulate the King pack, how about it, naturaley the lines will be much better than my stick man attempt when Jason paints it.  Kinda looks like a mid 50's tour pack the way I drew it.

Yeah thats  kinda what I was seeing in my head but start it a little lower in the front of the tour pack then flow up... How did he do that? Good job.

The SESG2 King tour paks do a great job of "matching" the colors/graphics on the bike.  Doing the same (i.e. multi-color/graphics matching the bike) on your bike would look great.  Heck, compare the HD solid color King TP's that SESG and SERG owners have had to use and compare those to the SESG2 multi-color tour paks and choose which you prefer.

I'd love to see Volski do a photo sequence on how he does the job.

I agree, needs to follow the bag lines and have the look Chp showed.  I have to give Jason the go ahead and am going to draw it out and e mail to him.  I think it will totaly change the look of the bike.

Found one on ebay with a solid color tourpack, addded what I felt it need with my computer and i think Jason will get the idea. Mine will have billet chrome hinges on it tobreak up all the dark color and the lines from the side will go around the rear.
