I thought that was what you were supposed to do until I got my seeg. At 2,700 miles, I can click into neutral any time I want to, and I do it sometimes just for fun

If you can't find neutral then just hold the clutch in you bunch of pansies. [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

These things have a clutch? Where is it at? I have been having a bitch of a time shifting...it makes this real loud slamming noise and and jerks the bike. [smiley=drink.gif] ;)

Yeah, 'er 'uh, mtncop73,
Seriously, 'bout the only time I use the clutch is on the initial roll off, to put it in first gear.  Mine just slips into every other gear on the upshift, slick as a whistle.  Of course on the downshift, I use the clutch everytime.  Neutral is easy to find on mine.  Later--HUBBARD

Mine is almost impossible to find neutral when stopped.  Dealer said drive it for 1000 miles, it'll loosen up.  They had a Fatboy last year that the moco told them that's what to do.  After about 1200 miles, it got better.  On mine, if the engine is off and it's in gear, you can't move it unless you're strong enough to overcome compression or slide the rear tire!  I've just gotten in the habit of catching neutral as I come to a stop for the time being.  Mine's been bled without any improvement.  It'll start moving as the lever comes off the grip when it's running.  So much for factory tolerances. ::)

I haven't tried bleeding it myself yet, only had the dealer do it.   At least what they did, didn't change anything.  When I get time- I think I've got a spare minute scheduled for 2008-, I'll try bleeding it myself at all the good spots.  Thanks for the info.

Shock Proof Heavy is a "Bright Pink" color out of the bottle..so Raspberry Slurpy sounds about right after some usage...

Bleed the clutch from the bottom up to the fluid reservoir. You'll get all of the air out a lot easier. Just be damn careful not to get the DOT4 fluid on painted surfaces.
