Lou, I think you got it, bet that happens on more then just tires.
I think so, once I was in the Big Toy store in Ormond (rossmyres) and got to talking to a guy had his bike in shop there getting work done with the 407F front tire, they didn't even tell him about the service bulletin, as I told this guy about it and he went down and got it taken care of.. You can't really trust the dealers...

What a shame!
I spent about 25 minutes typing up a nice complaint form on the dealer website but when I hit submit,  it only takes 250 total characters.  I need more bytes to complain with...

Which Avon's are you guys going with on the 2009 SERG?

I checked their website, and all I could find in our sizes were the Venom front which is a bias ply, and the Venom R rear, but that is a radial? Mixing bias ply with radials are no good in my books.

Never mind- I see that the Avon Cobra has the exactly right sizes, except they are radials as opposed to our OEM bias ply tires.

Only thing is the load rating is lower on the rear.

Was thinking of going with a set of Metz 880's. Does anyone know if we can run the 140 front and the 200 rear on the stock Blade wheels?  If they did fit would their be any increase or decrees in handling going with the plus size tires?
