Topic: Need a cnc or water jet (Read 1273 times)

I need someone to cut 6 pieces of .5" steel for me. I have the design on paper with all the dimensions.

They are only 1.75" wide and 6" tall.

I know someone has or has access to a CNC or water jet cutter that could do this for me.

I would think there are plenty of small shops in the area that have lasers or water jets to do the job, let your fingers do the walking or google them in your area.

Well I live on a island and no one has one around here. Have checked out in Va also with no luck. It is too small of a job for most shops.

I've used this site many times, they are fast and reasonable and they will cut with material you desire

Brian, struck out in Alabam, apparently everyone has too much business to want to do a small job. One place did recomend doing them on a wire edm as he has seen the parts made that way before.
