Yeah, sure, he says "rack."  I was never a big rack guy (there's a straight line for all of you to do something with).  But when I put the King pak on the old classic SERG and knew it would be on there most of the time I liked the appearance of the new "Airwing" rack and the light it incorporates.  So I hung them on the rack.

Nothing will likely ever be tied on top of it you understand.  I just liked the looks of it.  Then once it was installed the stupid light turned out to be about this (-) close to worthless.  So.... screw it.  I still like the rack.  Won't ever use the damn thing for anything other than a handle.  But it's there.

Wouldn't do it again though....

rack, definitely.

First of all for protection but secondly it's extremely valuable on weekend trips or holydays combined with such an item. We usually leave the tour pack entirely empty for Helmets, gloves, jackets, Zumo and the like and store our real luggage in the tour pack rack bag only. Very comfortable to have enough space anytime to store away everything you want to get rid of in the heat of the day or during stop overs.

Rack!  When you're travel companion goes along, it's a great place for a bag for light weight stuff like blow dryer, curling iron, fluffy slippers, etc.
