detachable tour pack / license plate

for the guys out there who have done detachable on 2010 ultras, what are the options for your license plate mounting with stock fender?

I assume you mean CVO Ultras. I used a Layback bracket attached toe the License plate bracket bar that comes with the detachable TP hardware. The layback looks great whether the TP is attached or detached. The bar IMO, isn't up to HD's standard as it's chromed but not particularly well polished.

On my '08 I changed the CVO light bar that holds the turn signals to the non CVO that has the light in it and then mounted my Bun Burner Gold IBA plate under it. Only been stopped three times by LEO's not happy with this. However, in the not so great Peoples non Republik of Kalifornication, by law, the plate should be in the factory original location.  Worth the time to go through the DMV rule book with them.

I used the bracket from a street glide.
