I'm trying to install an Remote Control Garage Door Opener Transmitter onto my bike 2010 FLHXSE.  Does anybody know if i can wire the transmitter to my unused Acc. switch to operate? If so is there an wire harness to purchase that will make the installation easy? Thanks in advance.

I'm not aware of any off the shelf harness to do what you want.  What kind of door opener remote are you trying to install?  If you use the Harley part or the similar Flash-to-Pass part, it's much easier to just wire it to work off the high beam switch as designed.

If you're trying to use a regular remote for a car, like the ones that come with garage door openers, then you might be able to rig up a momentary switch to the AUX button on your dash to trigger it, but you wouldn't use the existing switch and circuitry.  It would require a totally custom (homemade) wiring job and different switch.

Let us know exactly what you're trying to accomplish, and I'm sure someone will have an answer for you.

Please see this thread, I did this on my '11 SESG last week.  It had a harness already in place and I only ended up splicing one wire.  I can get the P/N off of the harness if you need, I have to go back in there anyway at some point today.
