Well after a week we finally got to meet up with "Magellan" from the UK.
Dave met us in Canterbury (as in Canterbury Tales) and joined us for an informal tour of ye olde England.

Being local he was able to give us a nice personal touch.

We toured the Canterbury Cathedral which is quite the historic treasure. And "whilst" there happened upon a Coronation (I think for the Archbishop). Quite the pomp and circumstance. During the service we were treated to a music piece that was written for Henry the II, as performed on one massive, awesome pipe organ.

What a sound!

After some lunch and walking around old Canterbury we headed over Dave's neighborhood which I think is even older then Canterbury.

Dawn and Dave had us for a visit at their wonderful home which simply amazes me.

A short stroll up the street had us at a several hundreds of years old pub for some fine English bitters.

Fine day, fine weather and some great new friends.

Nice photos cool place, we used to go to a place outside of Cincinnati Ohio called the 20 Mile House, it resembled the White Horse.  It was an old Stagecoach stop I was told.

It was really good to meet you and the rest of your family and I am glad you enjoyed the visit - the first from a US CVO brother .
You are more than welcome to come again - particularly as we didn't get round to tasting the Malt Whiskies!

That's a good question - but 'fraid to say I am now a FWR (Fair Weather Rider).
Don't like getting cold or wet - that happens enough over here when riding in the summer, let alone the winter!!!

We did Spyder, and today met at the bike show and shared a few more pints after perusing the Brit version of a custom bike shoe.

Touring book didnt get wet yet.  Ally Pally bike show is  only in its second year, I havent had the pleasure yet, but would luv to go sometime

Was a fair show, better then most of the small ones I have been to in the States.

Book is dry and safe for now. We are actually experiencing more dry weather then wet for the past 4 days.

It was so sunny the other day in the city that it was a bad day to go on the London Eye.
