2011 SESG, Has anybody gone this route?
« on: March 01, 2011, 02:17:26 PM »

Waiting on new bike arrival. Told dealer to install Fulsac "B" X pipe w/2" power cores, Andrew54 cams, Master Tuner and change the stock AC filter to K&N. Wondering if someone has gone this route and how they like it.

Only thing I think is leave off the KN. The paper version that comes with the bike is fine and works better for fine particles.. Ask Steve @ Fullsac , thats where I got this info.

I didn't think K&N was making an element for the stock SESG2 air cleaner.....did they just come out?

I didn't do the cam but did put on the Fullsac x pipe and 2 inch CVO cores with the TTS Mastertune.
Steve set me up with a tune for this combo and it runs pretty strong. Adding cams would be the icing on the cake!
I saw a thread on this site adding the Woods 555 cam and the combo listed above. The dyno chart showed 107 HP and 112 tq. http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=57014.0
I don't remember seeing anything for the Andrews cam.

The FULLSAC web site (CVO 110 Stage 2) has a dyno chart showing the 54 cam, Xpipe and cores.

did the stage 1 upgrade w the 1.75 cores. very nice fit and finish. very straight forward install hardest part was getting the old cores out. i had to go to  my neighbors house to use his compressor. it wasn't set up to run a die grinder so it took forever. haven't gotten much time in the saddle yet but seems alot better though

I have the same setup as you except with the 1.75 baffles. I started to do the cams(andrews) but after riding the bike for a while I have decided to "Wait and See" . I really like it the way it is and just see no point in opening the motor up for a relatively minor change in the powerband. Maybe later , but for now I am really happy with the way it is. Steve talked me out of changing the air filter so I left that stock also. I have even asked him about leaving the stock baffles because I really liked the quietness of the bike for the few miles I rode it stock. He says it might run a little rich at full throttle but about the same everywhere else and would not hurt a thing to use them. If mine get louder as time goes by I probably will do that.
