If you're asking about a battery tender... I have one for my bike, one for my wife's bike, one for the tractor...  A good investment!   :2vrolijk_21:

X2-Ours are hooked up to the bike whenever the bike is not being ridden.  Extends the battery life greatly especially when the HD batteries are around $160.00..

Not going to jinx myself and tell you how old my battery is.

What's the question?  If you want to know if a battery tender is a good idea, I'd say that unless you ride year round with little downtime it is a definite must-have.  Any time my bike will sit for more than a week, it goes on the tender.

I use this whenever the bike is parked.....summer or winter....if it's not rolling it's plugged in.

At one time H-D had one like this - Battery Tender Plus (had the MoCo logo/colors)... not sure if they (MoCo) still have it, but this is the original... only difference was the MoCo's logo/colors.

Key thing(s) you want to make sure it has are..

Quick Overview
The Battery Tender Plus is a 1.25 amp battery charger designed to fully charge a battery and maintain it at proper storage voltage without the damaging effects caused by trickle chargers. Included is a quick connect harness for hard to reach areas.

Been using battery tenders on everything since they came out in the early 90's. They can't be beat. Had them on 4 Harley's, 3 quads, 1 dirt bike, an Xmark lawn mower, Kubota Tractor & 2 Chevy pickups! Never had one fail or cause a battery problem!  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

94654-98B
750mA
For 12-volt batteries.
MSRP US $39.95

This one will do just fine.  I think the $139.95 is a charging station for multiple batteries. :2vrolijk_21:
