Hi,

So I traded in my 2002 FLHRCI pearl white Roadking on a 2005 FLSTFSE!  I'm not sure what I am more excited about, getting it home in my house, or for spring to come so I can actually ride it!  I keep my bikes inside my house all winter so they get plenty of attention and stay warm, but it is going to be hard not starting this bike!

So it is not heavily modified at all.  It seems like it may have a stage kit but am unsure.  However, it has V&H slash cuts and they are actually a bit loud for my taste with the 103.  I am thinking I may want to do the unthinkable and even go back to stock.  Any advice on what is a good pipe fix to tone them down a bit so I don't draw too much attention from the authorities?

Also, any recommendations for mods?  I am new to the CVO world and found this site when I tried (in vein) to find out the production number for my new bike.

Thanks!

That is a beautiful bike, I like the color :2vrolijk_21: Those pipes sure look nice but loud, a 2-1 pipe would look nice also with power less sound,  Check the section on this site that talks about pipes and modes, lots of information and help. You can ask your question there, congrats on the new bike. Yes I am exited about spring bu we have lots of snow still here in Maine. Yesterday we had -17 at night :'( it is getting up to 40 today. 2 to3 more weeks, maybe.

Ditto on the Ride it suggestions, get a feel for the bike and if there is anything that you would like to possibly improve then you can dig into those topics, suspension, exhaust etc. Just be aware that everywhere you go for a while you will have a stupid grin on your face!  :huepfenjump3: Nice ride :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

Congrats on the new bike, best advice around these parts is to hide your wallet cause people are gonna help you spend what you thought and then some.

Try the super trapps you can make them as louder or as quiet as you need with the discs.  It would probably be one of the best trade offs for you other than going back to stock for quiet and still getting a decent performance gain.  TTS or whatever tuning device your tuner likes.

Congratulations on your great looking bike!  If you think your exhaust is to loud you can usually find some screaming eagle exhaust's on ebay.  Then sell your V&H's and you will probably have enough left over for a battery tender.  The Screaming eagle's usually are not too loud for most anyones taste but sound and perform better than stock.
Then along with everyone else ride it tell you can't afford to put anymore gas in it.
