SEULTRA,
Thanks again, and if you look closely you can even see the chrome "[highlight]Detonator Sprocket". [/highlight][smiley=huepfenlol2.gif] Next time I detail bike, and have saddlebags off I'll take a better picture for you. :D

My next purchase, chrome Detonator sprocket, I too have  a pumpkin I call it "The Beast" you can come over and detail that baby anytime, sweet lookin pics, I am prejudiced, the Orange/Black combo is the sweetest lookin scoot ever. Maybe we can ride someday. MORE PICTURES! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

This bag rest looks cool but gives me the eebee jeebee's. Had visions of it tipping over! [smiley=nervous.gif] How sturdy is this thing? I set mine on some towels on the ground, that way if ever fall won't have far to go. If that stand is good and sturdy it would be nice to clean and wax bags on it.

                                                             JR [smiley=banana.gif]
They are real sturdy. I wash bags while they are sitting on that stand and haven't had any problems. The stand has a wide "foot print" and when both bags are on it is stable as can be. This way of cleaning them is a lot better then trying to hold them with soapy hands and cleaning behind them or risk them tipping over if you set them on the ground (even on a towel unless you lay them on the side) and causing damage.

Heh, I'm "AR" and I use them, so that should say something for them. ;D

Thanks for the link on the bagger rests Fired00d. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
They look nice and would be handy. Just wish my bags were easier to remove sometimes, I have the wires for the side marker lights and the rear spoiler lights to consider. With my big fingers i have to remove the seat to reach the conections.
Your bike is great looking! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
That was one of the drawbacks that I contemplated when I was thinking about the spoiler lights. Even though you can get them w/quick disconnect plugs normally they will be under the seat out of sight. I'm to much of a clean freak, and like being able to really clean the rear wheel (and BTW apply wheel dressing to wheels) and decided against the saddlebag spoiler lights. Thanks for the compliments on my scooter.

Bag rests are not a bad idea really. They have a real knack for falling over when you're doing something else on the scooter. Too bad they too don't come in chrome !

Tour of FD is not a problem. By your post I see you've visited my homepage, thanks for bringing something to my attention. I had forgotten to change my station location at first of year. I'm no longer at Station 1, I got moved back to the "Big House" (Headquarters) first of year. So it will be more stuff to see.

Very nice pictures, really shows pride in your ride. Wife was lurking over my shoulder, says you should have one of those fancy chrome shift linkages that says firedood on it. I think she is catching the OCD. [smiley=banana.gif]

Rooster,
Thanks to you and the wife. I have seen the linkages that have "Firefighter" on them, and would probably have to have one custom made to say "Fired00d".

BTW - Use her catching OCD to your advantage make sure you leave the Parts and Accessory catalog where she can see it. Helps to put sticky notes/tabs on things you really want. Whatever you do don't let her know this was my idea I don't want her to get the wrong idea about me. ;D
