Whats my 2004 FLHTCSE worth?

I was thinking of selling my bike. It only has 7,000 miles on it. 6 speed HD tranny, Zipper 575 gear driven cam, tuned by Hiro @ Las Vegas Harley, fairing mounted mirrors painted to match, all chrome bolts... everywhere, Metzeler tires, PM 4 piston front calipers. Not a scratch on the bike anywhere. Any idea of what it worth?

By the way. HD replaced my wheels, not even under warranty, a few years ago at no charge.
The bike is Black and Candy Cobalt.

I got 16k for mine and it still had 18 months of extended warranty, quick release king tour pack, Corbin seat with both backrests, etc.

It's not close to where I started but I had it at the dealership on consignment for months, Craigslist, etc.  Finally sold it to a guy right here on this forum.  By the time I sold it, I was greatful for the 16k. :2vrolijk_21:  

That was about 18 months ago and it did have considerable more mileage.

I've been looking for one at my harleydavidson   dealer they claim they are worth 15,000.00 to 16,000.00 may i ask what color it is? they are trying to talk me in to buying a 2009 or newer because of the new frame  i like the older bikes i have a few newer ones and have sold them looking for the right price

Its rare you'll ever see a dealer selling an 04 CVO for 15 to 16k. I've been looking for quite awhile, its always nice to know what they're asking. That my dilemma....I think , now that I see what the Fl shoreline does to the chrome, my poor wheels.  I sadly am going to part with mine. Whats an 04 O/B with 2400 miles worth ?? Then I have to factor in both tour packs, in boxes, never installed, an extra seat,(2) windshields, (2) CVO covers, fairing deflectors, (2) antenna w/ relocation kits, V&H slip ons(4 mnths old)...ect, ect...

Last one I saw in Alabama at a dealer was a B/B high miles and rough for $18K

Exactly, the dealers are not shy......I'm guessing I can put it mine out there for 18500. No doubt I paid a bit more, but that was before those poor wheels. Why not, sold my house late last yr and lost $$ on that too....I'm seeing a trend...gotta love this economy

There are ways to retain that pumpkin without it rusting away on the beach.....but, you have to rinse it everytime you take it out of the garage before it goes back in....That's a hassle, but it's the way they keep all those high $$$ boats from rusting away sitting right there on the waterway.....fresh water washdowns.   :2vrolijk_21:  spyder

Thanks Spyder, appreciate the input. I should just come to terms with things and sell it. My back is cracked, issues with my right leg, ect...I am not looking foward to dealing with all that comes with selling it, thats the big reason I haven't put it out there yet. Plus, it would be nice to watch the odometer go past 3000 miles.....

The real question is not what "something is worth"...The real question is what is the buyer "willing to pay and are you willing to accept that position"?

The answer to that question is complex to say the least but here lies the dilemma for any sale...

Dealer here has a stock 04 FLHTC for $15k....after dealing

04 SEEG should go for $18-20k ....... but they don't :soapbox:

If those tour packs are still in boxes, you might do better selling them separately...just a thought.

Exactly what I've been thinking, part out those tour packs separately. Original tour packs, brand new,in the box, got to be getting rare as hens teeth.  Docking hardware, ant relocation kits, sell everything separate from the bike, I might come out alittle on the plus side......whatever that is !!
