Quick 200 miles before the rain came back

Got a call from a friend last night asking me to go for a ride, I would have sent out a notice on the list but this guy only has about 2000 miles of experience and I did not want to put any pressure on him with the additional riders.

Met up at Starbucks at 8:00 then took off through through Saratoga up Hwy 9 to Hwy 35 to Alice's for breakfast. There was a group of riders that came in as I was getting ready to leave, a club called KOA Purna, I am pretty sure they are from Hawaii, didn't get a chance to talk to them. There was also one of the limited SE Black E'glides, I think it was #286/999. From there we went down past AppleJacks and over to Pescadero. Cut up the coast from there to San Francisco for lunch. All in all it was a good day and for a new rider he did OK. I had not charged the camera so only a couple of shots to share.

If you notice in the picture the guy is lighting the outdoor heater. Not like it was cold but this rail thin lady was complaining.

Meanwhile, we got snow this weekend with temps back into the low 20's today.  :confused5:

I was looking at your post, and had inserted a comment something about the only thing I knew of in Soledad was the prison. I had made my comment after your first picture so I deleted it and have not had a chance to re enter it. The southern route looked pretty cool, what do you say we hook up next weekend and go for a putt should be sunny and warm.
