Well this is it. Get up tomorrow, drop down $31,000 on base at Military Sales and head to Yong-in H-D and pick up my Autumn Haze and Antique Gunstock CVO Street Glide. Drinking a bottle of Soju right now to put me out so I'll get some rest tonight. Man where do they get these paint names? Much better sounding in Brown and other light colors. She looks good no matter what they call it. This has not been an easy task. You can't just buy a bike because you want it. I had to get signatures from my site supervisor and two Colonels before I could register my third Harley. Oh well they approved it and here I am on the countdown. Packing the camera and will post pics tomorrow. Wish me luck.
Good luck on your new scoot.
I spent 5 years in Korea 1975-1980 and toured the country from the DMZ to Puson on dirt bikes and a 650 Yamaha. I did a lot of flat track racing in the soccer stadiums and Motorcross racing on tracks we build on different air bases Kunsan, Osan, Seoul, etc and army bases Taegu. I really enjoyed riding in Korea but they did not have many cars on the roads back then. You had to dodge the bikes, ox carts, and push carts in the cities back then. Dirt biking was awesome as we could ride our motorcross bikes anywhere in the country without lights or license plates. I loved the Korean people as they were always kind to me wherever I went.
Where are you stationed?
Be careful over there and have a blast.
