Hi,
Picking up a 2011 CVO Softail Convertible on April 2. Long time Harley rider (33 years); never owned anything else. I am as excited about this bike as I have been with all my previous bikes; even my first: an AMF Sportster XLCH back in the mid-70's. This will be my first EFI bike.
The only mod I'm making on the bike is putting on a SuperTrapp Supermeg 2-1 with a SERT. The dealer is going to install the SuperTrapp before pick-up and download a base map for the 2011 CVO set-up compatible with my bike's features. Then after 1,000 mile break in, I bring it back and get tuned n the dyno. Does that sound like the right procedure?
By the way, love the forum - look at it everyday. hope to see you on the road. Will post pictures after I pick it up.

Welcome and congratulations. I rode mine stock for the first 1000 miles and the pipes near killed me. I kept having to check the tach. to see if it was running. :D
