I have not tried it but I have a feeling that I would be returning to step 2 way to many times.  :-X

Haven't tried that.

My chip repairs normally involve a belt sander and a paint roller.

I have extra outer fairings.
Well except for the 09 and it's history anyway.

With the 3/32" of pure natural Glare rubbed on.....most rocks stay away.

I have used this on a solid color.  It works "OK" but is not as simple as they lead you to believe.  Don't know how it would work on a metallic paint.
