At Lunch Said Goodby to the King and Welcomed the Ultra!
« on: March 16, 2011, 09:05:21 PM »

Well it only took 20 miles for me to eat my words. I told the salesman that I was hoping on liking the Ultra as much as the Road King and that I didn't see keeping it long enough for an extended warranty. As I rolled to 20 miles, each mile my thoughts were how much I like this bile. I had never ridden a CVO Ultra so I did not know how good it was. After I got back from a long lunch, I called as was able to get that extended warranty. Excellent paint all over, and what a ride with enough wind for my tastes.

RacerDJ,

There is always the option of doing what I did with an Ultra Classic, stored the windscreen and go the short dark tinted "wind diverter" like HD calls it.  It was tall enough to hunker down under in the rain a little with full face helmet, but short enough to get the wind in my face on a hot day..  I am thinking I will do something like it with my new CVO BIG BLUE coming.. It looked like this:

My current CVO SESG,

Has the curvy one, and that may even be better as it seems to also greatly diminish the wind buffeting....

Looks like this with the CVO Passing Lights added on the front of the Street Glide for that Old School Look...

Check out the look of the windscreen:
