Haven't been on this site for a while and just want to thank Crusty for the info. I was seriously thinking of buying the gas cap mount for my Zumo. I like this solution a lot more.

This looks like it won't work with a stock or short w/s. Plus, I'd be afraid the bracket would chew up the paint?

Bandit,

Do you have a link to their website and/or more pictures of that bracket?  I'd prefer the GPS just above the stereo allowing for just a short glance away from the road.  I don't like having to look down and to my left to see the GPS.

I've seen the built-in to the stereo units with the screen that pops up but don't want to spend that much $$$ and be stuck with something that may be obsolete in a year. :nixweiss:

That looks great Bandit!

The bracket can be bent to fit the top of the dash more closely as well.  Some people may not want to drill holes in their inner fairing though but this is EXACTLY where I'd like my Zumo 550.

The only problem...the website is in GERMAN!  I have not found a US distributor as yet. :confused5:
