Well done, there is still a lot of garbage in the net,
but also the same amount of useful things. You just
have to digg a little bit deeper  8)

drilled bigger holes, because the screws the send were to small
to fit into the nuts

inside the fairing, above the radio.
you can see, how we cut the part
to get the bend right.

had to bend the outside-part as well,
but was an easy task, 1 man-power was
enough, no machines necessary.

Of course the holes are final,
but that's the spot where a gps
should be, imho.
You could also put it more down
to cover the radio/cd. Look at
part 1 in the attachment

I know.  But it's those holes.   Unless I really have to, I hate to get the drill out.    :'(

Just saw this thread.  Guess I'm a hypocritical bastard as my first reaction also was "those holes!"  Yet I just got through putting all kinds of holes in the inner fairing of the red to mount the dash pad and dash pad mounted GPS.  Still it is different though.  The dash pad is a form fitted and functional part of the bike that appears as those it is intended to be there.  This thing is a metal stub that sticks up.  Regardless of how functional it is; it's still a metal stub that sticks up.

Handlebar mount works just fine on my old Road Glide.  Godspeed to all that enjoy and use the product.

i have a Riders Claw for my Iphone4 and it mounts on the handle bars..  Does whatever I need it to do and no holes. I wasn't happy to see a doctor with a needle either. :nixweiss:   I know that I like something today and then I don't like it any longer and want to change it.  That's why that product couldn't be for me.. :confused5:
