FLHTCUSE What do you think?
« on: April 23, 2006, 10:35:08 AM »

Hi you all,
I sold my 2002 SERK and was just in a crash and totaled my 2004 Ultra. I will be ready to ride again in June. I now want to get the CVO Ultra. Can you guys share with me any problems, highlights, things to watch out for things you wish were on the bike, and general thoughts on the 06? Don't know if I should wait for the '07. Don't know what the gossip is for changes from the '06 to the '07. Any advice would be taken with great appreciation.

Miss my CVO and I will be back. Ride safe.

I have had mine only 6 weeks but I could hardly be happier.  Some of the guys have had some issues (paint being the worst) but I have been lucky or blessed and the darn thing has been PERFECT so far.

I find myself grinning from ear to ear everytime I ride mine. I'm always looking for excuses to ride. And all the frilly extras like garage door opener, heated hand grips, cigarette lighter, etc. that I really didn't think too much about when I was considering buying it have turned out to be really cool and handy. It's a great bike to ride.

Just got my 06 CUSE and love it. I had the stealer install a 6 speed, chrome inner primary, chrome starter, and auto primary chain tensioner. I had hd-dude add some Bling, his led package, installed my GPS wiring & GPS, wiring for the battery charger, and gerbling heated clothing wiring. The 6 speed is worthless under 80 mph (I left the stock sprocket configuration). I'm off to Freedom Cycle in Reno on the May 8 to have them install the Freedom kit & Freedom cam. From what I see the cam should make a world of difference with the torque curve coming on early. The radio is awesome, clear as a bell at 90 mph.

The only gossip I hear about the 07 SE ULTRA is they may add a 6 speed.

Why wait! You

You guys are great. Like my past CVO's I don't see any disapp [smiley=banana.gif]ointment from you folks. I am doing a little home work. Got a 06 Deluxe yesterday for the summer and will give to my wife because i am a darn good hubby when I get the 07 CVO. I am glad to see the MOCO continues to put out a great CVO. Now I have to get well enough to ride.
