Old Stock--wouldn't think so since the bike was only 3 months old when the estimate was written. New part number since it was the first year for CVO Street Glide and stretched bags.....

Retail price for the lower left saddlebag on my old Candy Concord SESG was $1594--and that was just the bottom part!!!!

The right side was only $1267......why so much less.....who knows??

because the most common damage is to the left bag.. you know.. when you THINK you put the stand down?... but didnt...  :nixweiss:

and with prices like that they should buy you dinner first :huepfenlol2:

and maybe a happy ending!

That's what that little plate is supposed to be for.. but if you set it down on the little metal plate, it usually rips the 2 sided tape that holds it on... (dont ask how I know!) Its just another justification for the replacement bag...

I won't ask......since I happen to know that too!! Didn't even know it until the little plate fell off 1/2 mile later......

$25.00 for 4 bolts seems excessive however the saddle bag replacement costs more. Cheap insurance. Has anyone installed these and if so what is your opinion?

Thanks for the good words about our SaddlebagSecure product. We hear often of fellow Harley owners losing bags on the road for one reason or another. That wasn't actually why we developed SaddlebagSecure, but it is a good by-product. We just recently made up this quick video to show why we started making the product. JUST DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER! After producing this product for well over a year - I finally decided to see just how easily the bags could be popped off. I shocked myself. It was easier than I thought. My first time I used a screw driver and it took about 30 seconds on one pin and the pin broke easily. Then I tried it with long-nosed pliers and the resulting video wasmy 2nd attempt in that fashion - but only because the 1st was blurry. And I am not a thief! We have police testimony that both bags can be gone in 30 seconds. I saw - that's with a thief working alone. Brukus Motorcycle Parts is working to secure your bike - and thus your biking lifestyle. Don't worry about thieves seeing this - they already know!
