A friend sent this to me.......just wondering if anyone knows anything about this?

DirectLink now uses the Centurion box to communicate with the ECU.
One box for diagnostic AND ecu programming!

Now it is possible to reprogram the standard ECM. No more add-on boxes and thuss trouble free. No error codes. Can be used from a simple 1450cc stage 1 map to a radical big engine with a lot of hiperformance parts. Works also in combination with the new closed loop systems. For example 2006 HD Dyna and 2007 and up HD models.

One other BIG advantage: by reprogramming the stock ECU, you can go to every authorized HD dealer or serviceshop in the world to service or diagnose your bike, they know the ecu and they are trained to service that ECU. Very little dealers or shops have knowledge about aftermarket ecu's.

With DirectLink you can even disable the use of the intake air valve and active exhaust valve on HDI models without triggering an enginefailurecode. So you don't need those trickboxes or resistors anymore.

Advantages for the owner of the bike:
· He / she only needs one hardware key.
  No need for different cartridges for every upgrade!
· The ECU can be reprogrammed as often as you want
· The bike can be tuned to it's full potential: smoother running engine,
  more power, more torque, better fuel mileage
· Less chance of error codes
· The same hardware key can be used when the engine is upgraded.
  For example other exhaust, camshafts, cylinder / piston bore, throttle body
  etc etc etc


Advantages for dealer
· One box for diagnostic and ecu reprogramming
· Easy to use software program that can be used on a lot of different bikes
· Only one software program that can be used with:
  HD Delphi Injection, HD Magnetti Marelli Injection and Buell VDO Injection.
· With the optional 02 sensor, you can measure and display the actual AFR.
· He can help the owner of the bike with stock parts and future engine upgrades and supply him the correct map for the ECM
· Less chance of error codes
· A happy customer, resulting in more customers
· Tuningcenters with dynamometer can use the 'autotune' feature to tune the fueltabels in a accurate and fast way.

Gerrit Vosselman is the Direct Link distributor/tuner in Europe.  I have used Direct Link on all models of Harley bikes from Magnetti-Marelli to all Delphi's through the 2011 baggers.  This product works great, programs the ECU directly on the bike with no add on hardware.   I like it and my customers like it as it is less expensive than all the other ECU type programmers out there.  It is a perfect solution for the dyno shops.  They will have the 2011 Softails in the near future.

at a temperature sensor and adjust it for the highest temp you have found stoichiometric
