I am assuming from your avatar you are looking for a 2-up seat. For a solo, I love my corbin. Took a short ride from Memphis to Destin, Fl last Saturday and back to Memphis Sunday (1,100 miles). The only seat I have to compare it to on this bike is the stock seat but it was a dream, very comfortable. Had I had the stock seat on, I'd have had to stop by a Walmart after the first hundred and bought a pillow.

Q, the sun-ray that i put on has been good so far, but my longest day so far was last sat, and that was less than 200 miles. list was $600 but i paid far less than that, and i like the heated option, even in the rain that we did hit i was toasty warm

Best seat I've found over the years for 2up is the Corbin Dual Touring.  Sells retail for $469 and $200 more for heat.  You can usually save 20% as a walk in at the Daytona showroom or get a few bucks off if your dealer will work with you on their discount (26%) last time I checked.

When riding solo I've really enjoyed the Hollywood Solo on a couple of past RK's.

He Q,
        Corbin's the best IMO.  Even though mine was made for someone else, it's  still the best seat I've had. Took me awhile to get it to conform to me, I think I put 200 miles on it one day before I started to like it.  I've said it before;  the problem everyone has is that they feel hard when you sit on them to check em out. Thing is 800 miles later they feel the same. The foam hasn't squished and you find yourself sitting on a seat pan. Beags is going through this now figuring out what he wants for style etc in order to have Corbin make him a one off that fits him perfect. I know that some people like Mustang etc, but as far as I know, Corbin is the only place that'll make you a seat just for you.

Yes, I've never had one with studs, but have had them made in some great colors and skins to match a certain scoot.  Only advise I can give you first hand is that if you want to trim the seat in a color or exotic that matches your bike, leave the seat area regular leather.  Had a full quill ostrich made for a custom  Duece I had one time and it was not comfortable with all those bumps under your a$$.  Felt like you'd been shot with 00 Buck after about 50 miles.....

They might not be the most fashionable seat but they are very popular with the long distance crowd especially if you travel two up.Russell seats are custom built to you and your partners size,weight and riding position. Check them out at;

I put about 30k on my last ultra with the zepplin seat.  I liked it, though I'm not sure it would look "right" on a CUSE.  It's a physically big seat.  Of course, having the adjustable rider backrest instead of this POS the moco calls "adjustable" might make it worthwhile.  The zepp was nice and adjustable.  You could even change pressure points on the fly, if you felt the need to.

Also gotta add that Corbin seats do not work with any backrests other than Corbin, and I think they run like $200 apiece. I've had the Mustangs and like them fine, it just takes too long to get Corbin broken in for my tastes. I ended up just having get inserts done on the stock SERK seat (Butt Buffer) and it's fine for everything except cross-country. I'd go back to Mustang if I change again. But everyone has their own preferences for the rear gear.  ;D
