Tool Kit

Just curious, what tool kit came with your Road Glide. Mine was missing and the sales guy said something about the tool kit changing?? Want to make sure I get the proper one.

Small black nylon rollup set of allen wrenches crescent wrench screwdriver pliers   nothing spectacular

Things I have had to buy because of this site 2.0 fullsac baffles, PV tuner, glare polish, floorboard extn, clearview w/shield, locking lower doors, motorcycle armour, bass ports in tourpac, Iron aces mount for Power Vision Tuner V&H Power duals
and not close to finished!!!

if you have a choice I would go for the air suspension hand pump I have found that to be worth its weight in gold  Im 185lb and ride a lot with wifeon back nice to be able to change quickly from fully loaded to solo

You guys both have good points, did you get a tool kit with your bike? Allready have the hand pump....don't leave home without it.

 :)   I know.  I think I actually used one of the big allen wrenches one time to remove a floorboard support that couldn't be accessed with my socket bit holder and ratchet without disassembling the rest of the bike first.  Otherwise, it just stays rolled up in the saddlebag for ballast.

I noted that the "new" kit now comes in a chintzy plastic pouch?  Cheesh, at least my '05 came with a heavyweight fabric roll-up tote.  Looks like cost cutting has finally been applied to something nonessential, instead of just the engine.  Now if Harley could just build a reliable product, they could really save some money by eliminating the Chinese tool kit altogether.  When was the last time you got a tool kit with your new car, 1930 something?

i tried using one of the supplied combo wrenches one time. the 7/16 wrench stripped out. :nixweiss:
