And they pck pretty tight with the bag that comes with them. I haven't used them yet, but I think they'll do well.

I know this is a stupid statement, but I hope I don't ever have to use rain gear again.  ;D

Great minds think alike Chief.

After being pushed into the ditch in Abeline Texas in the rain, by a bunch of curry eatin sumbitches drivin a gray Dodge Caravan, I have two wishes.

A) never ride in the rain again

B) never see another curry eatin sumbitch drivin a gray minivan

I got this one.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/mcm_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524442233307&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374309040958&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374309040958&bmUID=1205600244838&bmLocale=en_US

Not too pricey. Best suit I've ever owned. Not saying much though. I've always used them $39 sets. :nixweiss:

Hoist! 8)

Hoist,

I just bought that suit last month. Like others, I wanted one that was subdude in appearance. I checked out that "HD Canal Suit" and just thought it was too flimsy. It was time for a new rain suit as my 15 year old Motorport leaked last year and I rode sitting in a cold puddle all they way from Jackson WY to Steamboat Springs, CO. Hopefully I WON'T get to try it out this summer,.....LOL!

Well on our sedona trip Don and I used rain gear for the first and last time . Had to take out of package since we have never had a use for it, his lasted about 20 minutes before the leg torn all the way off and mine lasted amout 30 minutes before mine flew up in my face and attached me . I dont think we will get anymore for any future rides. Maybe a garbage bag over our heads will do just fine next time lol ::). We really have no need to buy the good harley stuff since we never ride in the rain  ;D

Hey Soozie, one day of riding in the rain (when you HAVE to) will make a good rain suit pay for itself.  If you venture out away from home on a bike, you're eventually gonna end up having to ride in the rain.  That's been my experience .....  and I despise to ride in the rain for a lot of reasons.  I always have my rainsuit with me anyway.  :) spyder

Most definitely agree. Went the cheaper route w/my first rainsuit when I got back into riding... a one piece from the MoCo. Was the hardest thing getting in and out of, was hot, and uncomfortable. Next one was a two-piece and still not the best that was offered, but it keeps me dry, gives me the ability to just use the jacket as an extra layer when it's cool/cold, and isn't a pain to get in/out of. I too keep mine on the bike at all times, best insurance I know of to guarantee it will not rain when riding locally. ;D

Rain gear is for WoosPuppies

Real men ride around the Arizona mountains freezing their a$$e$ off in sneakers and jeans following a guy riding a Honda from Massachusets

d00d,

I'm like you, the best insurance to not have to wear a rain suit is to pack it with you!

We've proved that one the hard way, more than once. ;D   Seems like everytime I pack the two piece, I never need them. :nixweiss:
