Steering head.....grease zerk

Will be drilling/tapping for a grease fitting on my '91........
Would someone with a CVO measure their steering head......how far from the top is the zerk, and still on the left side?
Much appreciated....thanks

1" to the center of the fitting from the top of the neck

On my '92 FXRS, there was a plug in the RIGHT side of the neck, located an inch and a half down from the center of the triple clamp set screw to the center of the plug.  I just replaced the plug with a zerk.

Interesting.......the '92s were advertised as having the zerk.......
My '92 FXRS Lowrider (DOM 10/'91) came without one......
Factory template for drilling for the zerk.....left side, 1" below the top. Later updated by the factory....

My '92 was manufactured in June of '92....
Now you've got me looking.  My service manual says the zerk is on the left side.  So I looked, and the headlight wires cross the left side of the steering head, kind of fouling where the zerk would be, so.... a mid/late year change?
