Thanks for all the positive feedback.

Took well over a month to come up with the theme and work out the concept with the painter. I don't really consider myself an artistic type, and my original idea for the paint theme was leaning more towards a stormy weather concept. However, one morning it hit me what I wanted to try and go for. It simplified the paint scheme significantly. I left the final rendering in the painter's hand.
I'm just very happy that he was able to convey the feeling of eagle and fire as I had described, actually turned out better than I anticipated. I remember one of my statements to him was that I wanted an eagle head on the tank that was semi-realistic but made of fire. On his first sketch, he came back with what looked a lot like the screamin' eagle head flowing back down the side.

I said I wanted to avoid looking like an SE -- to me, the SE look can only be on an SE.
As for rendering the semi-realisitic eagle wing parts in the fire that flowed back, all I can say is wow. I really like how it was pulled off.
I will definitely post the completed tins and assembled bike shots as it gets put together. They are working hard to get this ready before my trip on the 9th.
