Az Sparky.....you go with the Fullsac package, you should be fine.  Getting rid of the catalityic converter is the biggest thing for getting rid of the heat.  Get the Fullsac baffles and the tuner and you're good to go.

As you know, it get's damn hot here in Nor Cal.....often in the triple digits to 110F-112F or so (92F forecasted for today) and I've never taken my leg fairings off mine or my wife's bike and we're fine.  She's a little more heat sensative than I am, so Jim did wrap her header with the exhaust wrap, then put the heat shields back on.

If anybody is going to go that route, be darn sure that you don't spray your bike with a cold hose when your exhaust is hot or you run a change of cracking the header.  She's been about a year and a half with no issues with the wrap. :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks JC - that's ultimately where I want to be BUT I've got to budget for it.
So I was thinking of going with the Fullsac baffles with an Xied or Vied to begin with.  Then complete the exhaust with the X-Pipe and tuner, once the funds are available.
I know I'm ultimately wasting the $ for the V/Xied as it will no longer be necessary after the tuner is installed BUT it'll get the temps down at a price I can afford right now.

It's hard not to look cool on a SEEG, but that's a different story.   ;D
