Thanks for the compliments All.

Aero8 - There were 3 scratches/blemishes that the dealer advised me that had been found and were going to be factory replaced (parts on order):
- Scratch in the powder coat on on tranny case
- Scratch in powder coat somewhere else (can't remember and can't find it)
- Small blemish on left rear fascia at top near seam above tail light

The ONLY one I can see is the last one (paint blemish) - other than that, I haven't noticed any paint issues.

Being here in Yuma I've got PLENTY of sun and haven't noticed any fading due to sun but then I've had my scoot for a very short amount of time and keep it garaged when not being ridden - that loud thud you just heard was me knocking on wood.

I'll be sure to post any problems with the paint.

No I definitely did NOT.

Sorry to shout but there's a little story with my purchase:

After reading here how hard it was to find the Krypto's, I checked the websites of some AZ dealerships and came up with blank - so I tried calling the ones that didn't list their current inventory online.
Tucson was one of those - I had to give my name and number to them before they'd even talk to me.
Yes, they had one, and they'd only charge me $5K OVER MSRP!
Bobby's Territorial here in Yuma tried to trade with Tucson but they refused - if I wanted that bike, I was going to have to go to them.
Luckily my guys kept trying and got a bingo with Chester's HD in Mesa.

It's kinda funny, on the day I was picking mine up, Tucson called and asked if I were still interested in that bike - seems they have a lot of interest but no takers - shoulda traded with Bobby's when they had the chance...

We were surprised at how many CVOs Tucson HD had on the floor.  After looking at the price tag, we quckly understood why......they had $4k-$5k mark up on each one of them.

And so I asked him "did you pay MSRP?"  He replied "hell, I don't know". :nixweiss:

What's amazing about that $5K over MSRP that they wanted for the Krypto, they told me there was a dealer in Cali that had a Krypto at $10K over MSRP and they were using that as a selling point.

Course they also tried telling me that EVERY dealer is going to charge around $5K over MSRP for ANY CVO - I am not kidding - they actually tried telling me that!

Now they sure would like my business so if I come on in, they'll definitely see what they can do to get that figure down a little closer to MSRP for me...

Sure glad I've got a rider for a dealer here in Yuma.

DEFINITELY true - Bobby started out just hanging out after school then the original owner (Jim) put a broom in his hands and gave him a an after school job.
From there he worked at it and eventually became a mechanic in the back garage and finally bought the place when Jim retired from the business.
Bobby's "business suit" still has his name on a patch on his left chest - yes, the Dealership OWNER turns wrenches!
And yes, he rides too.
