There's money to be found...
« on: April 26, 2006, 01:29:26 PM »

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with motorcycles other than if you happen to find any of these, you'll have some extra money to put into your motorcycle as a result. I couldn't find anywhere on this site where someone posted this.
I found out about these seven months ago.
The current United States coin I am talking about is the 2004 Wisconsin quarter, DENVER mint only. It is alleged that a mint employee altered two dies while being the operator of one or two presses. The coin has one of two distinct markings on it. Underneath the LEFT LEAF, at the corn husk on the reverse of the coin you could find an additional upper turning leaf, or lower turning leaf. I will attach 3 pictures showing the two "marked coins" and a regular strike. I am just putting this out there for the benefit of my brothers & sisters who might get lucky. Although I believe that most have been discovered, there still is a realistic chance. These coins are in a frenzy on ebay, and one can easily find 150-200 daily offerings. These quarters first appeared in late November, 2004. I jumped in around June of '05, and I have done well with many acquisitions. Today's prices bring a minimum of $200.00 for a reasonably preserved version of the lower leaf; slightly higher for the up turn leaf.

Thanks, I will have to check my piggy bank.  Hate to drop one of this in a pay phone, expensive call.  That is if I can find a pay phone.  They are becoming as rare as any misprinted coin
