from a strictly american point of view your argument may have some merit - but please take into consideration there are some countries without speed limit: over here after all the "wobble" threads of the last years its a very appreciated information if other members could take their CVO's up to their mechanical limits without experiencing any "exciting" circumstances

I just read all 16 pages of this topic  LMAO funny!!

My girlfriend has to go up to 100 mph almost everytime we ride, she loves riding her Deluxe fast but is very cautious.
Coming home from Sturgis I wanted to see what my 11 Krypto would do, we were somewhere in Nebraska. It has a Fulsac header, 2.25 cores, TTS Mastertune with dyno tune but it would only reach 109 speedo 113 Garmin then flatten out!!  I don't know if the Mastertune has a limiter but it wouldn't go above 109.  It was flat, calm and stable but I really don't need to do that again!!

I went 257 MPH. I can prove it by my GPS.

That's just too funny... but you don't need a 747 to achieve those number on your GPS.

Just tie a good lanyard to your GPS and swing it about like ropin' a calf... you'll be amazed at how fast you can go... and about how far the GPS flies when the lanyard slips out of your fingers... about 50 yards on the last attempt

Has any one with a Stock Speedo been able to get over 120 MPH?
I had the bike on a very long straightaway and could not get the speedo to go over 120 & had more throttle left & you could feel the bike speed up some maybe 125?   
I guess the Stock Speedo will not go over 120?
Did this three times, each time it just stopped like it hit a wall.

2011 stock street glide with RC componants slip ons and a 4" windshield...Since the  speedo only goes to 120, I had a friend following on a "Busa" and he clocked me a solid 135mph... had to throttle down because of front end wobble... I do think she had a little more to go.... I weigh around 130lbs give or take a few...lol
